Jacques Murgier

Born in Grenoble in 1912. He received the Premier Prix for the violin at the Paris conservatoire. While starting a career as violonist and conductor, he began composing.
He was lead violinist at the Concerts du Société du Conservatoire under Charles Munch.

The rest of his career he was director of the local conservatory and a leading figure in Reims society.
